LEARNTEC 2024: Karlsruhe as a hotspot for digital education
From June 4 to 6, 2024, LEARNTEC, Europe’s most important event for digital education, will offer professionals and interested parties a platform to discover the latest trends and innovations, exchange ideas and network. Over 400 exhibitors will be presenting their pioneering solutions for everyday education in three exhibition halls. karlsruhe.digital will be there again this year as a media partner and we are pleased to give you a preview of the exciting program.
A place for innovations and world premieres
LEARNTEC has established itself as a stage for numerous product premieres. “The congress is aimed at experts from the education sector, companies, scientists and interested parties who want to help shape digital education,” explains Stefanie Ruf, project manager of LEARNTEC.
This year, the focus is on artificial intelligence (AI). Area9 Lyceum’s Area9 Mindflow™ technology, which combines GPT-4 with existing learning content and scientific expertise, will be presented to the public for the first time. Equally exciting is the new learning platform from Bitkom Servicegesellschaft, the Learning Campus, specially developed for SMEs.
The event has a long history: since 1992, education experts and newcomers have been able to network here every year. “At LEARNTEC, education experts and newcomers have been able to find out about the latest trends and innovations on the market, exchange ideas and network with each other every year since 1992. The special thing about LEARNTEC is the combination of congress and trade fair. On all three days of the event, the LEARNTEC Congress offers a glimpse into the future of the digital education market and links this with the range of products and services at the trade fair.”
Top-class congress with international expertise
The accompanying LEARNTEC Congress offers practical and forward-looking presentations on all three days. International high-caliber experts from the education industry and science will discuss topics such as artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented realities (XR), data literacy and trust culture. Among the renowned speakers are Prof. Dr. Ulrike Lucke from the University of Potsdam and Senior Learning Transformation Strategist Lori Niles-Hofmann from the USA.
New: Headteacher and school board meetings
A special highlight will be the new principal and school authority days in the school@LEARNTEC forum. Here, school administrators can find out about technical developments for teaching and receive support in the further development of media concepts.
Future Lab: Live demos on AI and robotics
In the LEARNTEC Future Lab, visitors can experience the future of educational technologies. From AI applications to robotics demonstrations – here you can see how digital tools can revolutionize the learning process.
Orientation made easy: Self Guided Tours
To help visitors find their way around the wide range of offers, this year for the first time there will be self-guided tours. Visitors can use the LEARNTEC app to put together their own individual tour and visit exhibitors and presentations that match their interests. “In our LEARNTEC app (available in the Playstore and Apple Store), visitors can not only view the hall plan and engage in matchmaking this year, for example, but also find suggestions for suitable exhibitors for their individual questions and can thus put together their own tour of the trade fair,” says Stefanie Ruf.
LEARNTEC Eco Award for sustainable stand construction
Sustainability also plays an important role at LEARNTEC. The LEARNTEC Eco Award for sustainable stand concepts will be presented for the first time. This award not only recognizes ecological stand construction, but also the sustainable preparation and implementation of trade fair appearances.
Two trade fairs, one ticket: NEW WORK EVOLUTION
NEW WORK EVOLUTION , which is dedicated to modern working environments, will take place at the same time as LEARNTEC. One ticket gives guests access to both trade fairs and allows them to find out about the latest trends in the world of work.
