Terms and Conditions for the Raffle for a Ticket to the 2026 UIG Conference<\/h1>\n

1. Organizer<\/h2>\n

The contest is organized by karlsruhe.digital in collaboration with UIG e. V.<\/p>\n

2. Entry Period<\/h2>\n

You can enter the drawing during the time period specified in the post.<\/p>\n

Entries received after the entry period has ended cannot be considered.<\/p>\n

3. Eligibility to Participate<\/h2>\n

Natural persons who are at least 18 years old and reside in Germany are eligible to participate.<\/p>\n

Employees of the event organizers are not eligible to participate.<\/p>\n

4. Participation<\/h2>\n

To enter, simply post a comment on the respective contest post on karlsruhe.digital’s social media channels.<\/p>\n

To participate, you must interact with the post as described in the post itself.<\/p>\n

Participation is free and is not contingent on the purchase of any goods or services.<\/p>\n

Each person may enter once. Multiple entries may be disqualified. <\/p>\n

5. Profit<\/h2>\n

One ticket to the 2026 UIG Conference, valued at 169.00 euros, will be given away in a drawing.<\/p>\n

The ticket is valid exclusively for the conference day on Thursday, September 24, 2026. The workshop day on Friday, September 25, 2026, is not included in the prize. <\/p>\n

The ticket is personal and non-transferable. The winner’s name will be recorded at the time of registration. <\/p>\n

Cash payment of the prize or a substitute for the prize is not possible.<\/p>\n

6. Selection and Notification of the Winner<\/h2>\n

The winner will be selected at random from among all valid entries after the entry period has ended.<\/p>\n

The drawing will take place on the date specified in the post.<\/p>\n

The winner will then be contacted via direct message on the respective social media platform.<\/p>\n

An email address is required to send the ticket code. The winner is therefore asked to provide this information as part of the prize claim process. <\/p>\n

The ticket code will then be sent via email and can be redeemed on the ticket page for the 2026 UIG Conference.<\/p>\n

If the winner does not respond within one day of receiving the notification, the right to the prize will be forfeited. In this case, a new winner may be selected by random drawing. <\/p>\n

7. Data Protection<\/h2>\n

karlsruhe.digital and UIG e. V. are jointly responsible for processing the personal data collected in connection with the contest.<\/p>\n

In connection with the administration of the sweepstakes, we process, in particular, your name and email address.<\/p>\n

The data will be used exclusively to conduct the contest, to notify the winner, and to send the ticket. The data will not be disclosed to third parties or used for advertising purposes unless separate consent has been provided. <\/p>\n

The data of non-winners will be deleted immediately after the drawing is completed. The data of the winner will be stored until the event concludes and will then be deleted in accordance with the statutory retention periods. <\/p>\n

8. Exclusion from Participation<\/h2>\n

The organizers reserve the right to exclude individuals from participation if they violate these terms and conditions or attempt to influence the drawing through manipulation or other improper means.<\/p>\n

9. Guidelines for Implementation<\/h2>\n

The organizers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the drawing early for good cause.<\/p>\n

Legal recourse is excluded.<\/p>\n

10. Note Regarding Instagram and LinkedIn<\/h2>\n

This contest is not affiliated with the social media platforms on which karlsruhe.digital posts, and is neither sponsored, endorsed, nor organized by them.<\/p>\n
