On June 30, 2025 at 5 p.m., the starting signal will be given for a major citizen
\nScience particulate matter measurement campaign. At the CyberForum Karlsruhe, the first 100
\nparticipants in the CycleSense project will receive their measurement modules, which they will use to collect valuable data on particulate matter pollution in Karlsruhe over the next
\nthree months. To do this,
\nparticipants attach the small measuring modules to their handlebars, where they independently record particulate matter,
\ntemperature, humidity and bicycle traffic data. <\/p>\n

As a distributed system, Kubernetes<\/strong> offers the option of automatically scaling applications horizontally. This allows the application to be dynamically adapted to actual requirements. The cluster itself can also be scaled with corresponding hyperscalers. In combination, computing power can be released or added as required. This saves resources and money.
